Hover Domain Connection to Squarespace

To connect your Hover domain to Squarespace while keeping it registered with Hover, follow these simple steps:

Prerequisites:

• A domain registered with Hover
• An active Squarespace site
• Administrative access to both accounts

Step 1: Initialize Connection in Squarespace

1. Go to Domains panel
2. Click "Use a domain I own"
3. Enter your domain name
4. Click "Connect domain"
5. Select Hover from the dropdown
6. Click "Connect domain" and "Continue"
7. Keep the DNS records panel open for reference

Step 2: Access Hover Account

1. Log in to your Hover account
2. Locate your domain in "Your domains" panel
3. Click the domain you want to connect
4. Find the Squarespace logo in the Connect section

Step 3: Verify Domain Ownership

1. Copy the unique verification code from Squarespace's Host column
2. Paste the code into Hover's Verification value field
3. Click "Connect" to automatically add required records

Step 4: Complete Connection

1. Wait 24-72 hours for full domain propagation
2. Monitor connection progress in Squarespace's DNS settings
3. Look for green checkmarks indicating successful connection
4. Verify domain appears as "Connected" in Domains panel
