To connect a Crazy Domains domain to Squarespace, follow these essential steps:

Step 1: Initiate Connection in Squarespace

1. Go to Domains panel
2. Click "Use a Domain I Own"
3. Enter your domain name
4. Click "Link Domain"
5. Select "Other" from dropdown
6. Click "Continue"

Step 2: Access Crazy Domains Settings

1. Log in to Crazy Domains account
2. Navigate to Domains tab
3. Select your domain
4. Scroll to DNS Settings

Step 3: Add First CNAME Record

• Host: [unique code from Squarespace]
• Type: CNAME
• Points to: verify.squarespace.com

Step 4: Add Second CNAME Record

• Host: www
• Type: CNAME
• Points to: ext-cust.squarespace.com

Step 5: Add Four A-Records Create the following records:

• Host: @ | Type: A | Points to: 198.185.159.144
• Host: @ | Type: A | Points to: 198.185.159.145
• Host: @ | Type: A | Points to: 198.49.23.144
• Host: @ | Type: A | Points to: 198.49.23.145

Important Notes:

• Allow 24-72 hours for domain linking to complete
• Don't delete existing Mail or Email host records
• Monitor progress in Squarespace DNS Settings panel
• Green tags will appear as records properly connect

• Use DNS checker tool if "Unable to verify domain ownership" appears
• Wait full 72 hours before troubleshooting connection issues

Your domain will show as "Linked" in the Domains panel once properly connected.
