Instagram blocks allow you to showcase your Instagram posts directly on your website. When connected, the blocks automatically sync with your Instagram feed to display your latest content.

Prerequisites:

  • Professional Instagram account (Business or Creator)
  • Public Instagram profile
  • Connected Instagram account in your website settings

Adding an Instagram Block:

  1. Edit your page and click "Add Block"
  2. Select "Instagram" from the menu
  3. Click the pencil icon to open block editor
  4. Select or connect your Instagram account
  5. Choose number of posts (max 20)
  6. Customize design settings
  7. Save changes

Available Design Options:

  • Slideshow: Single post display
  • Carousel: Scrollable posts with preview
  • Grid: Thumbnail layout
  • Stacked: Full-width vertical layout

Design Customization Features:

  • Aspect ratio adjustment
  • Padding controls

Limitations:

  • No hashtag filtering
  • No IGTV, Stories, or Reels
  • Private accounts show unavailable links
  • Multiple images show only first item
  • No pinned posts priority

Troubleshooting Steps:

  1. Check Connection:

    • Open Connected Accounts
    • Verify data download settings
    • Restore data
    • Refresh page
  2. Reconnect Account:

    • Disconnect current account
    • Log out of Instagram
    • Reconnect through website settings
    • Reselect account in block settings
  3. Reset Block:

    • Delete existing block
    • Add new Instagram block
    • Reconnect account
    • Reset settings

Alternative Solution: For personal accounts, use an embed block:

  1. Get embed code from Instagram post
  2. Add embed block to page
  3. Paste Instagram embed code
  4. Save changes
