Mobile Start plans are 30-day, non-renewing subscriptions available exclusively through the Squarespace iOS app for trial sites. These plans offer a convenient way to test Squarespace's paid features before committing to a standard subscription.

Four plan options are available:

• Personal Mobile Start
• Business Mobile Start
• Basic Commerce Mobile Start
• Advanced Commerce Mobile Start

Eligibility Requirements:

• Site must be in trial mode or previously on a Mobile Start plan
• Must upgrade through iOS app (not available on Android)

Plan Limitations:

• 30-day duration with no auto-renewal
• Cannot purchase multiple months at once
• Cannot switch between different Mobile Start plans
• Unavailable features: Email campaigns, Getty Images, Google Workspace, domain services, Point of Sale, and Acuity Scheduling

How to Sign Up:

1. Open Squarespace iOS app
2. Tap More > Settings > Billing
3. Select Plan and review options
4. Choose plan and complete purchase through Apple ID

After Expiration:

• Brief grace period available
• Site content marked for deletion after grace period
• Options to continue:
  • Purchase another 30-day Mobile Start plan
  • Switch to standard web plan

Cancellation:

• Refunds available through Apple only (not Squarespace)
• Set site to Private to hide from visitors after cancellation

Plan Management:

• Cannot use promo codes
• Limited billing management through app
• Must use computer for advanced billing features
• Standard plans cannot switch to Mobile Start

To maintain your site long-term, consider upgrading to a standard Squarespace web plan before your Mobile Start plan expires.
