Squarespace accepts the following payment methods for subscriptions:

Credit/Debit Cards:

• Visa (including Verified by Visa and Visa Electron)
• MasterCard (including MasterCard SecureCode and Maestro)
• American Express
• Discover
• JCB
• Prepaid cards from these providers (except for overdue invoices)

SEPA Direct Debit:

• Available only for Euro (€) payments
• Limited to customers with banks in the SEPA zone

PayPal:

• Not available for U.S. residents
• Not available for payments in: Brazilian real (R$), Colombian peso (Col$), Indian rupee (₹), Indonesian rupiah (Rp), Mexican peso (Mex$), Malaysian ringgit (RM), New Zealand dollar (NZ$), and South African rand (R)

Important Notes:

• 3D Secure cards (Verified by Visa, MasterCard SecureCode) may experience charging issues due to banking regulations
• American Express charges may initially show "Stripe" as the merchant before updating to "Squarespace"
• Prepaid cards cannot be used for overdue invoices

Troubleshooting Payment Issues:

• For card declines: Review "Why was my card declined at checkout?"
• For SEPA issues: Check "Troubleshooting payment failures via SEPA"
• For PayPal problems: Verify billing address is outside U.S. and currency is supported
• Try using a different browser if PayPal button doesn't appear
