
Squarespace Invoices: A Complete Guide to Accessing and Understanding Your Billing Records
Squarespace invoices are accessible through the Billing panel under the Invoices section. Only account owners, administrators, and collaborators with billing permissions can view these documents.
To view an invoice:
- Navigate to the Billing panel
- Click on Invoices
- Select the specific invoice you want to review
Invoices are generated for:
- Website plans
- Email campaigns
- Acuity Scheduling
- Google Workspace
- Squarespace Domains
- Digital Products plan
- Getty Image purchases
Standard invoice information includes:
- Cardholder's name and company details
- Last four digits of payment method
- Amount due and paid
- Service or subscription details
- Domain information
- Applicable taxes and discounts
- PayPal email (if applicable)
Important notes about invoices:
- They're arranged chronologically, newest first
- Cannot be customized (except billing name)
- Individual printing/downloading only
- Not sent by email for security
- $0 invoices indicate subscription changes without charges
Payment discrepancies may occur due to:
- International transaction fees
- Currency conversion charges
- Combined invoice payments
- Additional taxes
For Google Domain migrations:
- Pre-migration charges remain with Google
- Post-migration renewals appear in Squarespace
- Google Workspace renewals may show multiple charges during transition
To print or download: Click the Print button in the bottom right corner of any invoice.
Note: Only subscriptions with associated charges generate invoices. Check each site or domain individually if you manage multiple accounts.
