RSS feeds help your audience access content from your site. They work with news aggregators and feed readers to deliver content in one location, while also enabling podcast streaming and email update notifications.

All Squarespace blog, events, store, gallery, and album pages include built-in RSS feeds that automatically update when you publish new content. These feeds show:

  • Latest 20 items (posts, products, events)
  • Latest 300 podcasts

Finding Your RSS Feed URL

To locate a page's RSS feed URL, add "?format=rss" to the end of the full page URL, after the page slug.

Common Uses

Blogs: Add RSS Block to let visitors subscribe via feed readers like Feedly and Bloglovin'.

Podcasts: Create a special blog page connecting with Apple Podcasts using RSS tags.

Troubleshooting Tips:

  • Verify correct RSS feed URL
  • Disable page/site passwords
  • Ensure site is public and paid
  • Enable relevant pages
  • Confirm proper domain connection
  • Use feed validator if needed
  • Remove invisible formatting

For reliable feeds:

  • Use built-in URLs instead of custom domains
  • Set event pages to List view
  • Create hidden blog pages for custom RSS feeds
  • Update RSS URLs when changing primary domains

Note: RSS feeds only display recent content to avoid overwhelming readers. If your feed isn't working, check passwords, domain settings, and page configuration.
