When using gallery pages in version 7.0, you can showcase images and videos in various attractive layouts. You can add up to 250 media items per gallery, with designs varying by template (slideshows, grids, stacked, or carousels).

Adding a Gallery Page

  1. Click Pages in the Home menu
  2. Click + and select Gallery
  3. Upload images through:
    • Clicking + in the sidebar
    • Clicking the empty box to open file manager
    • Dragging and dropping files
    • Using "Search Images" for stock photos

Adding Videos

  1. Click + in the sidebar and select "Add Video"
  2. Choose either:
    • Direct URL from YouTube/Vimeo
    • HTML embed code for advanced options
  3. Optionally add thumbnail overlays

Customizing Content

Content Management:

  • Add titles and descriptions (max 200 characters)
  • Set publication status (Published, Draft, Review, Scheduled)
  • Organize with categories and tags
  • Rearrange images by dragging in the sidebar
  • Move content between galleries

Element Settings:

  • Edit images with built-in editor
• Customize social sharing options
  • Add click-through URLs (template dependent)
  • Set featured images
  • Manage image visibility

Display Options

Use blocks to showcase gallery content elsewhere:

  • Gallery Block: Carousel, Grid, Slideshow, or Column views
  • Summary Block: Board, Carousel, List, or Grid views
  • Content Link Block: Visual links with thumbnails

Tips for Best Results:

  • Follow image format guidelines
  • First image becomes featured image automatically
  • Videos can include custom thumbnails
  • Images can be tagged with location data
  • Descriptions improve SEO through alt text
  • Consider template-specific display options

Remember: Gallery pages only display media content. For additional elements, use a layout page with gallery blocks instead.
