Downloadable products let you sell digital content like e-books, music files, artwork, and PDFs. Customers receive a 24-hour download link after purchase, with automatic link renewal available.

File Requirements:

  • Maximum file size: 300 MB
  • One file per product
  • Remove special characters from filenames
  • Site must be SSL secure
  • Variants, SKUs and subscriptions not supported

Creating a Downloadable Product:

  1. Select Product Type Choose "Download" when adding a new product.

  1. Add Product Details Enter name, description and upload product images.

  1. Upload Digital File Click "Upload file" or drag and drop your file.

  1. Set Pricing
  • Set regular price
  • Enable "On sale" option if needed
  • Add sale price if applicable
  1. Add Categories and Tags Organize products with relevant categories (max 25 characters) and tags (max 80 characters).

  1. Optimize SEO Add SEO description to improve visibility.

  1. Publish Product Choose to publish immediately, save as draft, or schedule publication.

Note: Product won't save without uploaded file.

Customer Download Process:

  • Immediate access via order confirmation page
  • Download link sent by email
  • Link expires after 24 hours
  • Automatic link renewal available
  • Manual link resend option through Orders panel
