
Customer Management: A Comprehensive Guide to Handling Contact Information
Customer contacts are automatically created after successful payments and can be managed in the Contacts panel. View and manage customers by accessing Lists and Segments > Customers to see order history, email addresses, and spending data.
Customer Accounts
Enable Customer Accounts to allow customers to:
- Save payment methods and shipping addresses
- Store shopping carts
- Access order information
- Speed up checkout process
Finding and Viewing Customers
- Access Lists and Segments panel
- Click Customers
- Sort by name, email, or order date
- Filter by total spent or use custom filters
- Search specific customers by name or email
View detailed customer information including:
- Total spent
- Average order value
- Number of orders
- Shipping address
- Order history
- Saved payment methods (for account holders)

Order Management Incoming
Managing Customer Data
Tags:
- Create up to 250 unique internal tags
- Use tags to organize and search customers
- Tags remain invisible to customers
Internal Notes:
- Add private notes for customer interactions
- Track special requests or important details
- View previous notes with collaborator information
Order and Subscription Management:
- View complete order summaries
- Manage fulfillment, cancellations, and refunds
- Track subscription details
Exporting Customer Data
Export customer information to CSV file:
- Access Lists and Segments > Customers
- Click export icon
- Confirm export
CSV includes:
- Account details
- Contact information
- Order history
- Billing/shipping information
- Tags
Key Limitations:
- Cannot manually create or import customers
- Duplicate contacts may exist if customers use different email addresses
- Shipping addresses only show for physical product orders
- Feature available only on Base Commerce, Advanced Commerce, Professional, and Premium plans
