To create a free product:

1. Create a new product or edit an existing one
2. Set the price to 0.00 USD
3. Click Save

For temporary free offers:

• Enable the Sale toggle and set sale price to 0.00 USD
• Disable Sale toggle to return to regular pricing
• Create targeted discounts for specific customers or order thresholds

Free Shipping Setup:

• Required for physical products
• Add a free shipping option to keep total at 0.00 USD

Checkout Process:

• Products display as 0.00 in store currency
• Physical products: Billing fields remain visible but can be skipped
• Digital/service products: Billing address required

Important Notes:

• Payment processor connection optional for free products
• Warning banner appears at checkout until payment processor connected
• Free offers work only with one-time purchases, not subscriptions
• Customers can complete checkout without payment for 0.00 USD orders

The checkout process automatically adjusts for free products while maintaining necessary order information and security measures.
