How to Find and Structure Your RSS Feed URL in Squarespace
RSS feeds are XML files containing your website's newest content, used by news aggregators, feed readers, email subscriptions, and podcast lists. Squarespace automatically generates RSS feeds for all blog, products, events, gallery, and album pages.
Understanding RSS Feed URL Structure
Your RSS feed URL consists of:
- Your full domain URL
- Page slug
- ?format=rss at the end
For built-in domains:
sitename.squarespace.com/pageslug?format=rss
For custom domains:
www.yourdomain.com/pageslug?format=rss
Finding Your RSS Feed URL Components

Filtering RSS Feeds
Add categories or tags to filter content:
For categories:
domain.com/pageslug?category=Categoryname&format=rss
For multi-word categories:
domain.com/pageslug?category=New%20Art&format=rss
For tags:
domain.com/pageslug?tag=Tagname&format=rss
For multi-word tags:
domain.com/pageslug?tag=Happy%20cats&format=rss
Pro tip: Using your built-in domain for RSS feeds is recommended as it's more reliable and won't be affected by domain changes or errors.
