To remove the "Made with Squarespace" text from your website footer, follow these simple steps based on your Squarespace version:

For Version 7.1:

1. Click "Edit" in the top-left corner
2. Hover over the footer and select "Edit Footer"
3. Click the text block containing "Made with Squarespace"
4. Delete the text
5. Click "Save" to keep changes, or "Exit" then "Save" to close

For Version 7.0:

1. Hover over the footer and click "Edit"
2. Find the "Powered by Squarespace" text block
3. Drag it to the trash can icon
4. Click "Save" to publish changes

For Version 7.0 Navigation Link (Aria and Burke templates):

1. Open the "Pages" menu
2. Hover over the "Powered by Squarespace" link
3. Click the trash can icon to delete

Squarespace Badge Settings (Version 7.0):

1. Open the "Design" menu
2. Click "Squarespace Badge"
3. To remove: Select "Disable Squarespace Badge"
4. To add: Choose white or black badge option
5. Select position, timing, and device display preferences
6. Click "Save"
