
How to Set Up and Sell Workshops on Squarespace: A Step-by-Step Guide
Services and Events are the ideal way to sell workshops or classes through your site. Here's how to set it up:
Step 1: Create a Service Product
- Open Pages panel and navigate to/create a Shop page
- Click + icon and select Service
- Add workshop details (name, description, images)
- Include date in product name for recurring workshops
Step 2: Set Workshop Parameters
- Navigate to Inventory section
- Set participant limits or enable Unlimited stock
- Adjust pricing options
Step 3: Add Time Variants (Optional)
- Scroll to Inventory section
- Click Add under Variants
- Select Custom from dropdown
- Add options (time slots, instructors, etc.)
- Set price and stock for each variant
Step 4: Publish and Configure
- Click Save and Publish
- Schedule availability if needed
- Optionally move Shop page to Not Linked section
Step 5: Create Events Page

Create event:
- Go to Events page
- Click + icon
- Enter title (match workshop name)
- Set start/end times

Add Product block:
- Click Edit
- Open block menu
- Select Product
- Search for workshop
- Customize display settings
- Click Publish
Step 6: Complete Setup
- Create additional events/products for all workshops
- Each workshop should have:
- Service product listing
- Corresponding event
- Product block within event
This integration allows customers to:
- Browse available workshops
- Sign up and pay directly through your site
- Select preferred time slots
- Receive automatic notifications
