Payment processors may charge fees when integrated with Acuity, though Acuity itself doesn't charge additional integration fees. Text message notifications are free through Acuity, but standard carrier rates apply for clients receiving messages.

Acuity starts with a free trial equivalent to the Emerging plan. After the trial, you only pay if you choose a paid plan. Your existing data remains saved, but client scheduling requires an active subscription.

To sign up with an existing Squarespace site:

  1. Access Scheduling from Home Menu
  2. Follow upgrade prompts
  3. Select billing cycle (monthly/annual)
  4. Choose a plan
  5. Confirm payment *EEA banks may require purchase authorization

Manage your subscription through the Billing panel, which shows:

  • Current plan
  • Start date
  • Billing cycle
  • Renewal date
  • Auto-renewal status

The Invoices panel displays payment history including dates, plans, amounts, and any pro-rated adjustments.

Auto-renewal is enabled by default to prevent service interruption. Annual plans receive a 15-day renewal reminder. To disable auto-renewal on Squarespace:

  1. Open Billing panel
  2. Click Scheduling under Subscriptions
  3. Turn off Auto Renew

For standalone Acuity:

  1. Click menu dots by subscription
  2. Select Billing
  3. Uncheck Auto Renew

Failed renewal payments enter a 15-day grace period for card updates. After that, the subscription expires and client scheduling stops. Expired subscriptions may be reactivated depending on settings.

Consider Enterprise plans for:

  • High appointment volumes
  • Regulatory compliance needs
  • Multiple account management
  • Specialized support requirements
  • More than 36 calendars
