Page settings control key aspects of your Squarespace pages, including URL slugs, featured images, and SEO elements. Here's how to access and modify these settings:

Accessing Page Settings

Computer:

  1. Open Pages panel
  2. Hover over page title
  3. Click settings icon
  4. Make changes in available tabs
  5. Click Save

Mobile App:

  1. Tap More > Pages
  2. Select page
  3. Tap ... or settings icon
  4. Tap Page Settings
  5. Save changes

Note: Some settings are only available on desktop, including SEO settings, social sharing options, and code injection.

Key Settings Options

General Tab:

  • Enable/disable page
  • Set navigation title
  • Add password protection
  • Set homepage status
  • Customize URL slug

SEO Tab:

  • Hide from search engines
  • Add meta description
  • Set SEO title
  • Preview search results

Social Image Tab:

  • Set social sharing image
  • Preview social media appearance

Media Tab (7.0 only):

Feed Tab (Blog pages only):

  • Configure podcast settings

Advanced Tab:

  • Manage categories/tags

Collection Item Settings:

  • Modify individual post settings
  • Edit product details
  • Customize portfolio items
  • Configure video pages
