The Sales panel provides comprehensive analytics for tracking revenue, orders, and conversions across your online store. Here's what you need to know:

Key Features and Availability

The panel displays critical metrics including revenue, order volume, and conversion rates for both sales and donations. Available on all plans, it requires a connected payment processor for site plans.

Data starts from January 2014 for sales, with donation tracking beginning June 2024. Note that gift card sales aren't shown in Analytics until after purchase.

Accessing and Filtering Data

Access the panel through Analytics > Sales. Filter results by:

• Date range
• Sales channels (Website, POS, Third-party platforms)
• Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

1. Revenue

• Shows total income from orders and donations
• Excludes shipping and taxes (unless using tax-inclusive pricing)
• Subtracts discounts but doesn't account for refunds

2. Checkout

• Tracks completed purchases including physical products, services, downloads, and donations
• Excludes invoices, scheduling, and POS payments

3. Orders

• Includes all completed orders and recurring transactions
• Membership subscriptions show as single orders

4. Conversion Rate

• Calculates percentage of visits resulting in purchases
• Formula: (Purchases ÷ Total Visits) x 100

5. Average Order Value (AOV)

• Shows revenue per order
• Formula: Total Revenue ÷ Number of Orders

6. Revenue per Visit (RPV)

• Measures revenue generated per visit
• Useful for marketing ROI calculations

• Show data by source (referrers)
